BLOOM by EDZI launches new collection – Terre et Vie

Bloom by Edzi, the contemporary ready-to-wear female clothing brand, has again stunned fashion lovers, existing and new customers with another captivating summer collection dubbed “Terre et Vie”! Yes, you got that right!  The earth and life collection as it translates in English is officially the 5th series of exclusive bespoke wears rolled out by Bloom by Edzi and this series comes with enough love to go round.

Speaking to the Creative Director Ms Edzordzinam Agrosah about what inspired this set of collections at this time, two words stood out – love and togetherness. “In a time when the world has been hit severely by the global pandemic and most businesses have folded, these creative pieces of sustainable clothing are our gift of love to the beautiful people of Ghana and the world who have been yearning for relief”.

These collections have come exactly a year plus a month after our business went on online. With the pandemic affecting social lives and livelihoods, sales had declined significantly and going online was inevitable to keep the brand afloat and it has been one of the best decisions we took although we are continuously learning to settle in the terrain, she narrated. Why Terre et Vie? “Well, the earth needs healing and lives are begging to return to normal. We believe clothes entertain people, new styles enhance the serotonin level of most people, they feel better, eat better, sleep better and are happier with one or two extra new clothing in their wardrobe. We are inspiring women to look good and feel good even if they are stuck at home. We are hoping that the passion and attention we gave to these unique dresses will make you feel radiant as you don one of them and visualise the other waiting in your wardrobe”. This is for the earth, that life may return to normal sooner than later – there is hope in this collection.

The Terre et Vie collection has 11 different styles, mostly pants, blouses and jumpsuits which were named after contemporary indigenous Ghanaian women across all cultures and can be paired in up to 121 different styles if you have all 11 pieces of the collection in your wardrobe. They include the Owusuaa pair, the Akosua pair, the Konadu pair, the Akoma pair, the Dzidula pair, the Edinam pair, the Naa pair, the Nikki pair, the Solim pair, the Kukua pair and the Serwaa pair. It’s simply about togetherness, unity and a sense of being Ghanaian.

Life is returning to normal and we are going to keep providing the best value for money Made-in-Ghana wears to our existing and new customers. A percentage of all sales we make for the next 2 years is donated to the CommonHealth Fund in support of the medical needs of deprived and poor critically ill patients in 2 districts of the Volta region with plans to scale to other areas of the country. This is one of the ways we are giving back and supporting society in these difficult times.
